Structure of the USAF


The USAF subdivides itself into several larger commands, which are directly untersellt the pentagon. Each command is entrusted with the execution of a certain partial order within the gesammten area of application of the Air Force.

ACC - Air Combat Command

The combat aircraft of the USAF, thus bombers, hunters and fighter-bombers are subordinate to the air Combat Command. AMC - Air Mobility Command

The air Mobility Command provides world-wide for rapid air transport and quick air refueling of all US armed forces. AFMC - Air Force Material Command
